High School AP/Dual Credit

Advanced Placement Credit

High school students who successfully complete the College Board Advanced Placement (AP) examinations may earn college credit at the University of Saint Francis. USF grants college credit for AP examination scores of 3, 4 or 5 in accordance with the American Council on Education recommendation. If you would like to seek AP credits, you are responsible for requesting that the College Board send your official AP examination score report to the Registrar‘s Office. A grade will not be assigned for courses in which you are awarded AP credit and these courses will not be included in your grade point average. You will have the option to decline all or part of the AP credit awards. In some cases, credit may be awarded for a course included in the curriculum of your major area of study. In other cases, credit is awarded for either a course in the general education curriculum or a general elective course.
