Transferring to Saint Francis

Transfer Credit Overview and Guidelines


For Current Students

If you are looking to take a course at another college or university, you must first complete an Outside Course Verification Form on Form Central.

For Students Transferring to Saint Francis

If you completed coursework at an accredited institution, Saint Francis will evaluate and post the credits to your Saint Francis transcript, provided you earned a grade of “C” or better. Accepted credit hours are not included in the computation of your Saint Francis GPA.

Note the following exceptions:

  • Allied Health, Nursing, and Science majors have a five-year limit on transferring science and pharmacology courses.
  • Information Technology courses taken more than five years before enrollment at Saint Francis are not transferable.
