Tuition Assistance funds are a unique, distinct source of financial aid available to eligible service members. Each branch may have a different application process for this benefit. If approved, funds are applied prior to Pell and other forms of financial aid. Visit your respective branch’s website for more information.
Students who qualify for the Post 9/11 GI Bill® Benefit and participate in the Yellow Ribbon Program will receive a matching grant from USF. Grants cover half the remaining tuition and fees (after the Post 9/11 GI Bill® benefit amount has been applied) and may not be combined with other institutional aid for tuition and fees.
Each year, USF gives 100 matching grants to undergraduate students and 10 to graduate students. The grant is renewable, provided students maintain a 2.0 GPA and remain in good academic standing.
